Call for Papers

The 14th Iran Workshop on Communication and Information Theory (IWCIT) will take place on April 28th to 30th, 2026, and consist of in-person sessions only, with the possibility of online presentation for abroad speakers and authors. This event is organized by Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran. IWCIT features world-class speakers, plenary talks, professional tutorials, and technical sessions on a diverse range of fundamental and applied topics in communication and information theory. Prospective authors are invited to submit high-quality, original, and unpublished contributions to IWCIT 2026. All submitted papers will be subject to peer review. The scope of the workshop includes (but not limited to) the topics listed here.

Paper Submission

Prospective authors are invited to submit original manuscripts for presentation at the 14th Iran Workshop on Communication and Information Theory. Only PDF files will be accepted for the review process and all submissions must be done through EDAS (the link will be announced). All submissions should be written in English with a maximum paper length of Six 6 printed pages (10-point font) including figures. Standard IEEE conference templates for Microsoft Word or LaTeX formats are found here. Papers should be submitted to one of the tracks mentioned in CFP.

Final Paper Submission

Camera-ready versions of accepted papers must be submitted on EDAS (the link will be announced) for inclusion in the workshop proceedings. Please read the reviews of your paper and follow the reviewers’ recommendations for revising it and preparing the final version. Your camera-ready paper must be submitted no later than April 21st, 2026 in order to be included in the workshop proceedings. Accepted papers will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore subject to meeting IEEE Xplore’s scope and quality requirements.

Author registration
At least one author of each paper must register by April 21st, 2026 for the paper to appear in Final Program and the Proceedings.

To submit your camera-ready paper, please go to EDAS (the link will be announced). IEEE PDF eXpress (the link will be announced) has been made available for checking the IEEE Xplore compatibility of PDF files and provide assistance to authors to correct problems with their files. The workshop ID is 67595X. This tool must be used before uploading the Camera-ready versions.

IEEE Copyright Form
Before you upload your camera-ready paper, you will need to submit your IEEE copyright form using the IEEE electronic copyright mechanism. Please follow the link provided on EDAS page.
